GOAL
The past perfect is formed by combining the auxiliary verb "had" with the past participle.
also it used to mark past events and also used in prayers because, when or before.
Structure
- Subjet + aux. Had + verb (past participle) + Complement
for example
- when we got to the station, the train had already left.
- He had written a letter to María.
- We had been stranded for six days.
